Yep

Just Yep, not Yepp, that weird samsung mp3 thing, that was odd.

Anyway, so a bunch of things. Went to Michigan for the weekend, not for anything in particular, but to get away from a few hectic weeks of stuff around here (and or around California) it was nice, hot, but that is to be expected in June, and air conditioning makes up for it. Aparently, sometimes those odd signs on the side of roads that look like tourist traps aren't so bad. On I-75 just a shade north of the Ohio border (exit 6, for those keeping track) there's 'Jerky Unlimited' They don't have a website, but here's the map of them in case you care, they're actually in the larger building to the left of the green arrow. Anyway, beyond the not optimal way to display what is essentially gas station cuisine, they make really good jerky in various flavours and meat types. The turkey is nicer, because its not so tough, more of the nugget style. Anyway, I'd suggest stopping there if you should happen to be on I-75. Also, aparently as the place is called Luna Pier, its near water. I swear having been there yesterday, I had no idea it was on the lake, but that's what maps are for, to prove they weren't kidding about the whole Pier thing.

Uhh, Nothing else too interesting, so I think I'll leave you with this relevant discussion on Hockey. Of course since the game is on at the moment, it could affect your view of the outcome if you read this anytime later then the end of it. Still amusing.

Ok, about it from here.

Return to normalcy

So after a quick 4 day trip to san francisco, (fri-mon) I'm slowly catching up on the rest of my stuff. I was going to try and not get jet lagged, but a certain dinner reservation at 8:30 on friday night sort of threw it all to pot, so much that that dinner started off with coffee to attempt to stay awake. I did succeed, but almost clocked the waiter while gesturing with my arms. I'd avoid gesturing while tired in the future.

So there's bunches of things to discuss from the trip, but I'll summarize: Union street, not near union square. And oh, the maps they have on bus stops, neglect that if you're walking you end up going up incredibly large hills, and then back down, after you decided walking from union square to union street was a good idea in the first place. At least if you went up a hill, you'd have a feeling of accomplishment. But taking a cab back is a bit more like watching grand theft auto from the back seat of the stolen car, still better then the return walk.

Umm, I am mad at all the airlines. I like leg room, its handy, to you know, fit your legs in. That isn't a 'luxury' like extra olives on salads. Oh well, its not like flights cost $300 even if you plan ahead, so you're getting a deal. You can only pay $290. splendid. If walking across the country didn't suck even more then walking around SF, I might consider it.

I have other things to discuss, but need to get going to dinner, tomorrow can be stuff on other topics, like the nuances of why you can't get a frappucino with a sidecar. You can get milkshakes with extra fillup things, i think its logical to get a frappucino with them. I hear there was one kind that had a shot of espresso you added to it, but I don't think that exists or is the same thing. Just something to ponder really, I'm not sure why you'd need more then a venti to begin with.

More Chipotles

I blame the burritos for my slacking. It seems like they're not a scapgoat, and you know, you could make burritos with goat, so they seem a logical goat-type product.

Other then that, I think its overall just another week or two where I haven't said anything for not much reason. Went to the new chipotle that opened a few weeks ago, it seems oddly similar to the other ones, except their chips aren't as good. I don't know why. In any case, its convienent, so I can't complain, at least until next spring when they open another one closer. The one that opened 2 weeks ago is 10 minutes east, there is one that opened a few months ago 10 minutes west, another one that's been around for a while is 15 minutes south, and the new one for 2007 will be 5 minutes north. Do you get the feeling we're being surrounded?

About it for me, time to get some sleep.
