Besides working well, the most notable thing about the the new computer is that it makes me want a new monitor. Of course I'd like to have one of the 20" flat panels I have at work, but that's probably a bit excessive. On the more positivie side, there are some 17" flat panels for around $300 that look promising. Of course after buying the computer I feel like I should wait a bit before making any large monitor purchases though. So I'm stuck in the world of large beige CRTs for a while longer I suppose.

Its thursday. That's about it I think.

so i didn't have work yesterday, but that obviously wasn't enough incentive to actually do something here. I'm not sure why, except that I spent a lot of it doing frustrating computer stuff trying to get shufffles working and other various endeavors.

The upshot of that was that I went out and bought a mac mini. So now that's working pretty well. and the shuffle is working.

But now i need to go to work. boo. I like these long weekend things, I think I need to try and do it more often.

I am actually awake at an almost correct time. Of course I haven't found my shoes yet, which could take days or weeks, so I'm not sure how this will eventually turn out.

It wasn't a bad weekend. It was supposed to get up to the 50s. It got up to about 40. Regardless, I had to wash the car because it had collected quite the collection of winter scum. As I also had other things to do, I tried the Mr. Clean carwash thing. It worked pretty well, but as it was cloudy out, I couldn't see every spot to clean, so I missed some spots, which I noticed when I got gas later and there was enough light for such things.

I think I need to get going. I'm not totally with it though. I feel like its some morning that I woke up way too early and didn't get enough sleep. The odd thing is that isn't the case, so I really have no idea what is up. Oh well. such is life I suppose.

So Aparently I succeded in guessing my Valentine's day present. This isn't a huge issue, because its still cool. But I worry if I've messed up some of the surprise by doing this. Oh well, there's still questions of exactly which one and other details.

Umm. Oh yeah. so in the interest of saving the company money I no longer get paystubs as of today. I'm not sure if this is a big deal or not. I have to probably say not - since I never did anything with them anyway. (I can get them online if I want to go digging now)

Ok. time for work.+

So I haven't gotten out of bed on time at all. yesterday I got up and had to go get donuts, to make people less mad I won the super bowl pool again. I think that worked though.

Today its just blah, don't feel like getting up. Oh well. I'm blaming winter. And as per the lawn rodent in PA, we have another 5 weeks of this so I'm blaming the lawn rodent as well.

Well, the myriad of reasons I haven't said anything the last few days isn't interesting. It mostly relates to not enough sleep. Today I did actually get up approximately on time, and thus have time. But not much.

Of course due to all of this extra time, I have no idea what I was going to say.

Oops.

Its friday, that's good.

Umm. Yeah.

I may have to start dealing with this in the afternoon, when I'm coherent enough to remember what I wanted.
