Anniversaryness

How many N's are there in that word?

Oh well, its been a good year. you should all pick a random month and read up on something stupid that you probably missed, not like a whole lot of info that's actually useful has been said in the past year...

uhh, so when they said 'student' they really meant unemployed graduate? I can't imagine they film monster garage episodes more then 4 months in advance...not that i have anything against unemployed graduate, just interesting to note the spin.

i'm watching invent this on tech tv, its rather interesting, in the event you get the channel, one should watch or tivo it. otherwise watch queer eye, since i don't get bravo, you can be alone in that.

not much else to really report today, just another september day, though i have no idea how cold it will be tomorrow, might actually need heat! such an idea. oh well.. i think helen's getting back, that could make it more interesting.

i need to go grocery shopping, running low on milk again!

moo.

Bordem

with helen running around exciting arizona, i'm stuck going to band in 45 degree weather, not that i mind thing, but it does make it a bit more boring around here.

i've decided no one cares about the 1 year anniversary tomorrow, so i'll ignore it.

subway is disgusting, i can't believe they tout how low fat their sandwiches are anyway, everyone gets them with mayo and cheese and it messes it up anyway.

rainX is handy, since the 7 is more aerodynamic then most things, at highway speed, the rain's pretty well gone without the wipers, except of course if you're directly under a light, but still in theory its good, even if i suposedly said it made the wipers act oddly...

one of the people on monster garage today was a student, and he was wearing a WPI shirt... interesting

i know there were other things to mention, i know i've totally forgotten them...

i have a concert next monday, it should go well, at least i think so, that's always a nice benefit.

the stupid juicy fruit gum is sitting on my desk, and i keep looking at it, pondering having a piece, then realizing i'm not a big fan of eating shellac. i really should just throw it out...

ok, nothing else to report. tune in tomorrow!

erps?

hrm, so jen made chocolate chip cookies with the recpie from the best recpie cookbook. they came out quite good, but i think they worked well, considering usually all you try and do is use the tollhouse recpie on the back of the chips. in the event you want to try it, remeber that you can get the cookbook for only $20 or so at sams... but maybe ebay is cheaper.

so the bathroom ceiling is done. this would be impressive, except its about 3'x9', not exactly a huge area, though it looks pretty good. onto the walls next! of course someone (whose name shall not be mentioned) needs to choose the flooring, so the walls can coordinate, but stupid home depot is closed as of 7 on sunday, so well blah on them.

aparently gas prices are coming down, for all of you who doubt why i live in OH, gas with the sams discount (they opened a sams gas station like a month ago, i dono why) is $1.35 now for regular, its $1.42 at the BP station next door. i think i save my rent here by not having to buy expensive gas...

uhh, i know there are other things... oh pier 1 is having a glass/dish sale, until october 4th, its like 20% off things, so since i had managed to break one of my glasses i bought a replacement, and noticed it was cheaper.. you should go browse if you're interested in such things before the sale is over.

umm, yeah, so i mentioned a camera phone on walter's blod (which i could trackpack/ping, but its too much work, so i won't)

oh, yeah, so when i said the drywall was done, the taping and the sanding/scraping were done, that took like the last week, but it all got primed this morning, and then the ceiling i mentioned was painted after the primer dried.

ehrm, not much else to report, its getting cold around here, so it was time to break out the flannel sheets, i had missed them. jersey is nice for the summer, but flannel just feels more compfy... maybe i should live in the artic.

i think that's it for the weekend update, but if i think of something else, well i'll put it in tomorrow's update, because i'm going to sleep now. ha! ha ha!

new ER/anniversary plans

so its the season premier of ER. i need to get a tivo so i can't plan these things better, it got in the way of the yummy chinese food.

umm, so the job faire went ok, i finally got in contact with the head of college recruiting at medtronic, (she had been not responding to my voice mails/email, but seemed a bit remoseful at not doing that) i'm not sure if i should believe her, she's nice, except for the MN accent :) Anyway, we'll see if that goes anywhere, I think I should get an interview anyway, just so I can go to MN, mark another state off the list.

uhh, yeah so we're coming up on the first anniversay of blogging, i don't have any suggestions yet on what to do..

why can't tivo come up with a new version stat? i'm running on issues with when i get a job, do i get a tivo first, or a new car... there's not much sense in buying a tivo that's like 2 years old by now, they better come up with something new and something quick.

i think the drywalling is now done, hopefully priming on saturday will go smoothly, it'll be a nice step to have compeleted the drywall sections.

hrm, not much else to report, i didn't have any ketchup today, though i guess on some small level i missed it. maybe i'll make something with ketchup for tomorrow. suggestions?

more ketchup packets

so i went to lunch at white castle, because i didn't really have anywhere better to go.. anyway, they don't have the tear thing on their ketchup packets, but they also only print on one side, so their logo is above the heinz one. very slick, i think they win the ketchup wars, and i think 'm not going somewhere with ketchup packets for lunch tomorrow so they're postponed indefinetly.

uhrm what else. so aparently walter finished a show! yay, exciting, exciting!

i'm getting to the point of thinking of priming the bathroom, and then dealing with any imperfections later, my eye just cross and i can't tell what's done and what needs more touching up, i imagine it'd be much simplier if it was all a nice white.. but maybe that will just show more problems.. how problematic.

umm, i'm going to stop by the career faire tomorrow, we'll see if that's remotely productive. i emailed the one graduate from my program who got a job at bme program, he hasn't emailed me back, which doesn't say much one way or another, since he probably doesn't check that address..

the door isn't fixed, but it opens now. i took off the door panel, and pulled on the lock a few times and it works normally now, but i don't know why it stopped working, so i just stuck the panel up without screwing anything in, hopefully i can find out what went wrong, and then put the whole mess back together, i don't exactly feel comfortable putting it back together if i'm not sure why it broke in the first place.

i like plastic cups, unlike the paper ones from mcdonalds or something if i leave a cup that has ice in it, it doesn't soak through by the morning if its plastic. another vote for starbucks i guess.

one random extra thing.... aparently the professional engineering exams as of april of next year won't let you use any calculator that stores text. As someone who grew up with equation solving calculators and symbolic manipulation (what I bought my 89 like 2 weeks into freshman year) that's just horrible, and for a stupid reason too, they don't care if you have symbolic manipulation, they just don't want you storing text or communicating. oh well. handy there's no exam for BMEs...

damn door lock

so on a trip to baja fresh in akron (not a bad deal, if its good enough for ben afleck, i guess it is for me, mighty tasty fish taco for only $2.20, but their sauces taste like pan scrapings, or spicy pan scrapings, or smoked pan scrapings, depending on which one you choose)

so anyway, whilst there, the car had gotten a bit finicky this afternoon to unlock, and it just decided it didn't want to unlock and open from the outside. aparently this is a common 2nd gen rx-7 thing, though i can't find any info on how to fix it online, i guess i'll see what i can do tomorrow, and see if i can find a hayes manual at autozone or somewhere, rather big pain in the ass for a minor thing, though i'm sure as walter knows, life goes on without working door locks.

umm, i would like to request that drywall joint compound be made without bubbles, so i don't need to waste 5 minutes each time i need more out of the bucket squishing them out.

uhrm, not much else to report, walter hasn't updated, isn't that surprising? i need to finish the chili, maybe i'll have it for lunch, its probably not best aged for for more then a few days. but you never know until you try, perhaps i'll save some.

so since that's it, and i aparently need sleep to go play with the car tomorrow, i should get to sleeping.

Oh, 2 more minor things. I had the new chicken baguette from burger king (for those of you with tivo, you may not have seen the ads), it was actually not too bad, the baguette was under cooked, so it was a crackery white instead of toasted. Also either burger king or heinz must have decided the public isn't as stupid as they were 5 years ago, since i noticed the ketchup packets no longer have the little 'rip here' icon. or maybe too many people ripped on the wrong side, and felt bad, so they got rid of it. in any case, i think its a feature, now if only people knew how to hit the glass bottle ketchup so it didn't force it farther into the bottle, i think that's asking too much, they only seem to know about hitting the 57. Like the people who don't know what the ACLU is, but that's a whole different story.

hrm..

so i forgot to mention, in the excitement of making chili yesterday (which got better overnight, so it proves leftovers can be good) i was trying to crush the toasted cumin seeds with my wooden spoon. It broke! the spoon I've had for like 4 years. it was just reaching middle age. I'm crushed, i think it might be possible to glue it, but its still not the same, i think i'll need to get a new one next time i'm at a wegs.

uhrm, i didn't do anything today, so the bathroom is a day behind, i don't think this is horrible, but i did go to band, i guess the rain got me in a not doing anything mood. oh well, i have no idea what the weather will be tomorrow, so i can't say i'll be productive, but i'll try.

uhh, this is boring, but nothing else really to say. i need to finish this up, because my jam is left out, and no one like spoiled jam.

mmm, popcorn sssschicken.

(if you don't get the sssschicken reference, you don't know enough mexicans, and by enough, i mean 1 or more).

so yeah, lunch was popcorn!, in the good edible fowl kind of way, very exciting, but i think the portions are smaller then they used to be. its a good thing they don't offer it all the time, or i'd end up eating there way too often. but as a random thing its kinda fun.

umm, what else so we continued with the taping, which was mostly an experiment in how much joint compound i could get in my hair. i really should weigh it before i shower, it'd be much more scientific.

umm, so I was at bed bath and beyond (one opened a few weeks ago very close by) and decided I needed an oxo accessory or two (I got a mixing bowl, which I was sorely lacking, rotting tupperware makes a bad mixing bowl) in any event, at checkout, jen noticed razzles. they're rather odd, starting out as a dry sweet tart type candy that becomes gum. i would have to say they're not worth $.79 for a package.

i got new sneakers. my old ones had disintegrated, and the suede was leather, they were covered in gypsum dust, and you know, were just so 1984 styling. so I now have a pair of 70's style pumas. but i'm still not positive they fit right, but they were the last pair, and at $40, vs the $65 they cost online, I think I'm happy. here's the picturewith the colors inverted, mine are mostly green with tan.

walter hasn't updated...

helen's saying something about painting a window, and acting like we should know why she would do this. i'm highly puzzled, as she lives in an apartment, so it must be for decoration or something, but then confused as to how expensive the paint really should be, considering we painted an entire bedroom for $20... though i guess maybe she doesn't want an entirely blue window, or it wouldn't be very artistic? i dono.

hrmski?

i guess i'm feeling polish.. i need to prepare for the market day which aparently is sirloin marsala, a new record for planning ahead.

uhh, i really don't have tons of stuff to say.

aparently i don't inintiate flirting with starbucks barristas, i ordered a mocha frap with irish cream and no whip (but got whip anyway, but whatever) which for some reason prompted the barrista to comment that there was only one other person who ordered that. i said oh, since i had just made it up, as i do every time i go, though i'm running out of flavorings.

my current leading favorite is the valencia mocha frap. aparently a valencia mocha exists in hot, but 'there's not enough room on the menu' so they have these cool valencia flake thingies, (like cinnamon, in a pepper shaker) but since i didn't get whip, it wasn't as obvious. in any event, good flavor! i think orange is just stronger then things like irish cream.

uhh, 2 more panels left for the bathroom, 1 which is largeish (59"x48") the other is small, (20 1/2" x 15" or so) (I haven't measured that one). with some minor trimming, buying more screws since we're like 20 short and some random fill pieces because the walls aren't straight, and we're on a very good level.

so your entertainment: from the times on an article on how views make up a big portion of the price of an apartment (which I fully agree with, and I pay $20 extra for my park view damnit!)...

There are limits to the power of views, however. The Manhattan skyline from New Jersey is incomparable. "But once you go through the tunnel and cross the bridge, your real estate values drop," said Henry Robbins, the vice president of Yale Robbins. "Real estate is about location, location, location — and you're in New Jersey."

bargaining and blogging

right, so aparently i'm supposed to mention how i got TOWM a receiver for his lounge for less then half its MSRP and like 40% off its actual price... We we in HH Gregg, which is a Cleveland and a few other places (I saw one or two when I was in IN) Worst buy/ Circuit Shitty competetor. However their outlet is about 2 minutes from here. Anyway, so there were some receivers on the pile, I asked the guy how much one was without a price. he said uhh, $100, (it was supposed to include a DVD player, but was missing it, ones with the DVD player had a price of like $230) We plugged that in, it had a stupid error, like 'turn power off' after you moved a button or two. So I asked him what else he could do, and said we needed a receiver. He said umm, Lemme look at this Sony. So he took its info, and instead of its $260 price, he said umm, $150. that is how I bargined at a normal store. it was rather effective.

walter hasn't updated in 10 days. He better be very busy doing whatever it is he occupies his time with.

i for some reason found a pile of jobs to apply to today. 7 actually, which is much more then usual. we'll see if it leads anywhere, only one of them was very positive, but it seems to indicate multiple positions in multiple locations, and was specifically entry level.

i cut my finger hanging more drywall today, but like a paper cut. i'm not even sure how, but I hope primer covers up blood.. we'll have to see of course. 2 walls done and the ceiling... progress is good. unfortunately tomorrow is band, so we'll have to be quick. But I did manage in the shopping to pick up a nice set of welding gloves.

of course I can't weld, but I borrowed a brotherly suggestion on using them as an oven mitt. (No offense to Oven Mitt(TM) Arbys. but Arby's is not very good, so I don't feel obligated to use their mascot, even if he's funny.

about it, its actually quite late, so i should be getting to sleep, i have to umm, wash dishes tomorrow, that's important. and put more water in the fridge, so i don't have to drink 2 quarts of iced tea with dinner, not that that has any relation to why i'm up now or anything...

one more thing. for those of you who haven't read the english2american dictonary page to page, you may not recall trousers=pants pants=underwear. anyway, as MINI2 is down, I can recount an amusing post where someone complained (an american) that his pants got wet when he sprayed the windshield with the window open. of course much hilarity ensued when the british contingent didn't realize what he meant, and asked why on earth this occured, and shouldn't he put on trousers... i fixed the confusion after the big cheese asked well if they're not pants, what do you call pants? by pointing out shorts was an option, as in, 'point of fact sir, i'm not wearing any shorts' (or whatever that quote was that i mashed 3rd hand)

i missed a day, oh well.

I think the reason moisture resistant sheetrock is green, is so you say, eh its a nice color, i think we should paint the bathroom that color. though as the ceiling is the only thing done, i don't think it'd look good gree, so maybe not.

umm, i need to find more restaurants that serve good water. its difficult to find places that serve non-tap water that isn't something atrocious like aquafina or dasani.

umm, i got a haircut. it seems to be doing well, check in in a few weeks and we'll see. as no one besides jen has seen it, i can't really vouch for how well it works out. no one complained at dinner though, so that was a public occasion i guess.

aparently we've been congratulated. how exciting!

i can't think of anything else, and i need more sleep. there's walls to be dealt with tomorrow. hopefully i won't start randomly itching from the insulation, i did use gloves and a mask, so one would think not, but i didn't exactly plan ahead, so the only clean work clothes were shorts. oops..

on the subject of civits. the palm civit (which is catlike, but not an actual cat others seem to say weasel like, i'm not bothering to look into this more) has a virus very similar to SARS, but all the animal people are saying no, no its not the same. i guess we need to wait for more research..

shellac

ok, so i was finishing up lunch, and decided to have a light snack. i tried some of the juicy fruit strappleberry. Ignoring what a strappleberry is, and why it comes in blister packs, i was happily chewing, when i read the ingredients. Aparently two things occured: One, i had been adding an extra syllable in phenylketonuric (an extra a before the c) and b. it contains shellac!

now you say, shellac? isn't that used for floor covering? why yes it is, but the more disgusting part, is it comes from the lac bug! look: (its another one of those bad grammar links, ignore this part).

By more reading (I already knew shellac came from the lac bug, i just wanted a link) aparently its commonly used to cover pills. So great. My gum is shiny because its covered with bug excretions. I don't even think that's kosher, though technically they remove the bug parts, so i'm not eating the bugs. anyway, this is just gross, so i'm ending it now.

from the magic box now showing funny money? why does the best coffee in the world come from places people have no reason to get up in the morning?

oh the weekend was fun, and now i have a car charger for my ipod. we'll ignore markass was supposed to get me one 9 months ago, but now i have it, so i can forget to charge it even more often! yay!

waiting for laundry..

so i didn't update on time, few other people did too, so i'll put up some stuff now. i'm busy waiting for my laundry to be finished.

i got bored and dug up my various aim screennames. aparently mosfry doesn't work anymore, or i forgot my password. i registered friedmoss to makeup for it. i'm not sure i'll do anything with it though. stryder00 also stopped working. it was for the better of course.

uhh, i noticed the sun visors actually do something on my car. i was driving back from band, and they were sorta useful driving west. i was amazed, its the first time. maybe that's why old men buy sports cars, to get working visors.

I've decided I want to get to zihuatanejo in mexico sometime. both because the name is cool, and famous from shawshank redemption. oh and it looks pretty, and hey mexican rivera sounds neat.

Vonage's most expensive rate is to tuvalu. $5.92, i guess you pay extra for those catchy .tv domains... the lowest rate is to most of western europe at $.05, i bet it costs less, but they're just charging that to be even... like they charge $.05 for extra minutes i think. oh well.

so the oddball band director has odd sayings. last week's was: its not my boring pants, its my awsome shirt. (to point out why dynamics are important, people only pay attention to loud or soft things... i guess it makes sense)

TOM hasn't been around... anyone know what's up? is law school suddenly much more difficult?

uhh, i can't think of any of the other things i was going to mention, so i guess its off for the weekend. TOWM and Anne are showing up for the indians game against the twins on sunday. it should be fun, lets hope it doesn't rain.

planning ahead

so jen reminded me that i've almost been blogging for a year. the official date (not hard to actually find since its archived) is sept 30th. what should i do in celebration? its actually a tuesday, so i'll even have to put up an entry.

so the frankfurt auto show is up on edmunds.com if you're interested, lots of new stuff, nothing too interesting for my view, but whatever, i don't expect to buy a car for 10 years, since at the rate i'm going that will be when i get a job. then i can buy a 2009, and i'll continue my owning 2 cars from the 80's and 2 from the 90's plan with 2 from the '00's.

i think either bagels are getting less filling or i'm just ignoring them. i had 3 bagels for lunch, with some cream cheese (whipped, so less filling, but still) and was hungry like 3 hours later. its very much a scam, i'm going to have complain to einstein and company.

so uhh, i guess i'm in a comment drought, maybe all of the comments before wore everyone out. sad really, but one shouldn't complain, merely hint excessively i've been told.

for all of you keeping track (is anyone?) the new much more water resistant subfloor is all down, and insulating and drywall can progress! i know horribly dislike knob and tube not because of insurance reasons, but even after its been disconnected, its a giant pain in the ass to get out of the ceiling so you can put insulation on it. prying at the stupid knobs is very difficult without getting ceramic in your eyes.

enough about well-aged wiring... time for bed.

half birthday

i was informed that it was my half birthday. i managed to celebrate this by smashing my thumb while installing some multiply (catchy name eh?) plywood underlayment. i find this ironic, but eh, i'll get over it.

hrm, what else. walter is lusting after some horror movie, i have to say, no matter how cheesy, its still a horror movie. blech. uhh, what else, i seem to be running low on fiji from trader joe's, hopefully the cleveland one will open soon, otherwise a trip to columbus may be in order..

i called cox, they seem to say the general thing, but i put in my vote for having bravo, they said hrm. we'll see if it shows up, instead i seem to have gotten G4, the video game network, vh1 country and 2 horseracing networks as of today! very very exciting!

umm, not much else to really say, but i'm sure i'll forget something... drywall tomorrow! i'm so excited, because we're putting it up with screws, which means its much more difficult to smash my thumb.

everyone of my links updated today! this is great news. dave barry aparently (in addition to mentioning the pirate day) seems to have pissed off telemarketers by publishing their phone #...

i haven't gotten any new responses on the what should i get as a present thread...

One extra thing: so we love google's conversion, and as someone pointed out, it converts kg's to lbs without pointing out the mass/weight problems, but even cooler: (no, see the link was cooler, there's nothing after the : i just needed it for proper grammar, which is now improper)

ok

so no one commented on the walter function. i'm wondering if he's starting a conspiracy. or maybe no one cares.

its a new monster house, but i'm tired so i'm not sure if i'll stay up to watch it. british pub type thing. hrm, lack of tivo.

i dono if i want a digital camera, its all very confusing! i have to think more about this, people can continue to suggest!

my sauerkraut went south. this was disappointing for the evening's hot dog dinner. how can something pickled go bad? i'm blaming it on the power failure, everything seems to be a product of that, so why not?

uhh, yeah so something about something. i still don't know why i get like 200 channels, none of which are bravo. i need to call and yell at the cable company, but i keep forgetting. there's a few other things that are more important, like finding replacement kraut!

hey i hit 501..

so i've hit 501 comments, i guess i need to keep track of this better, of course some have been duplicates and such, so its probably not actually correct. whatever.

walter hasn't updated yet. i'm not sure when we should start the nagging, maybe i can make some equation:

if (length of previous update/days since last update)/ < 10 then nag_

(i just decided alan programming ends lines with _, and one should post at least 10 lines per day of course)

as i don't update on weekend, i guess i should refine that formula...:
if (length of previous update/(days since last update suchthat day=/= sat or sun))/ < 10 then nag_

is suchthat an acceptable formula? how about subject to? i have math on the brain, eh close enough to programming.

so aparently jen's dad wants to buy me something for all of my help (we'll ignore the insanity of loading 14 sheets of greenboard today) but i have no idea what i want. therefore, i need major suggestions!

i was thinking i don't know what i want in general, something like a tivo could be cool, but as they haven't changed the damn things or the prices (i think) for over a year, i'd expect some new ones to pop up for the holiday season, and they did promise the HDTivo too... an infrared thermometer could be handy, but i dono, just seems odd.

so there you have it, no quiz, but a highly useful quiz, in a non-multiple choice kind of method...get to suggesting!

roast yer own...

so yes, assuming you can get your pencil cup and grill going, you should check out sweet marias, not that i've ever been there, but dave seems to like it, and its his pencil cup in the first place. though we were busy roasting kona, that's irrelevant. it is much more economical too, especially handy for those on a budget.

uhh, what else. i can't think of anything.

i had mr. chicken for dinner. it was good. i'm going to avoid other foods that start with mr. though.

eh, i'm too tired to think.

arizona is too damn hot! (i just needed to say that again).

aparently walmart holds meetings at hooters. great stuff.

ok, i'll all for personalisation but umm:

i think he has a mullet too.

and lets not even point out that's copywrited... (though i guess TOM should be the one who discusses such things, Harley davidson clearly has to deal with this).

newest reality tv topic: arguing over paint chips at home depot.

oops?

so i was trying to fix the leaky toilet, which wasn't very difficult, i spent more time actually sanding down the floor that had warped then actually fixing the toilet, since all it needed was a new wax gasket and a piece of plywood to keep it off the floor.

of course i don't trust myself, so its water is turned off and it has towels around it now to keep it happy. we'll see how its feeling tomorrow.. damn overacting porcelain (that's a stupid to spell word).

so yeah, i'm excited about using googlecalc, (i just wondered if it can display a googol, and it can! even with 1e100 notation!) but the coffee thing is all wrong. you buy green coffee, then roast them on your grill, in a converted pencil cup. it works out well, even though its not my idea, i have done it, and jen can attest. then you can grind them fresh. either that or work at starbucks and get your free # a week with your health insurance.

Hrm, so tonight's activity was going to chipotle for 'appetizer' (half a burrito and iced tea) and then off to dinner at the indian restaurant .. it was good

umm, not much else to report. i'm tired, so its off to sleep for me. i need to ponder the meaning of vinyl tiles, they're the flooring choice of the moment, in theory of course, nothing seems to get purchased in the flooring dept on impulse.

ok so where was i...

well as i spent the weekend being rather busy, i'm a bit out of whack. aparently jen lost track of what we did on what days, so i'll summarize:

(did we start on tuesday? whatever) tues + wed: removed piles of plaster + lathe from floors
thursday: finished up demolition for the time being, not much else, I think I removed the ceiling then.
friday: not much.
saturday: took out tub, sink and toilet, removed rest of walls, replaced most of floor, removed half of cast iron soil stack (drain/waste/vent thing)
sunday: finished floor, made some walls, did half the replacement soil stack plumbing, installed tub into newly made space...
monday: finished sewer plumbing, did nearly all water plumbing, installed toilet...

So as it stands now, we're missing walls, (one wall isn't even finished being built, but its only like 5 studs that need cutting) and someone's dad left before finishing the electrical, and the floor's not done.

isn't life fun? well ok, it'd be more fun to live in a house with 2 bathrooms, so when one is out of commision, it's not a critical thing to get it done in the weekend, especially when simple things like sealing the floor can't get done in time.

on other news, someone posted on macslash (i dono why anyone cares where) their address, but instead of the idiotic NOSPAM thing in the middle of their email address, they did vv -> w. not a bad idea if you have a w in your address, like oh say cwru.

i hate my job search. i just can't even find jobs to apply for. but enough about that, if anything else changes i'll mention it.

umm, i need to clean the apartment... keep running out of time it seems, though about now its time to go to sleep... since i can't remember anything else i wanted to say.

Aparently helen got all sorts of packages when she went to college, i'd just like to point out all i got was a few boxes of brownies (that sadly don't travel well) and some passover food once or twice (maybe 3 times?). I think she's spoiled, and her brother should just tough it out and eat pizza and on campus food for months like you're supposed to until you realize life exists outside frat parties.

Aparently it takes walter 2 weeks to get nails... i'm not sure if this is good as he updated, or a sad definition on how busy one can be.
